Kenneth D. Shumate, Dentist
Dr. Kenneth Shumate, was born and raised in Washington D.C. He graduated from T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, VA. Dr. Shumate was a mathematics teacher, track and football coach for Westlake High School and General Smallwood Middle School.
He attended High Point University in High Point, NC graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. He then graduated with honors from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN and is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He completed advanced training in general dentistry and implant dentistry at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington D.C. Dr Shumates advanced training in dental implants makes it possible to have your implants placed and restored in his office. Dr Shumate is an African American Dentist in Waldorf MD and has operated this dental practice since 2013.
Dr. Shumate is a current member of the National Dental Association (professional association of minority dentist), the Academy of Osseointegration ( Dental Implant Association ).
